College of Marin Day HikeThis trip is for the English language learners of Professor Elizabath Boner. We will leave the clasroom and walk along Corte Madera Creek on the multi-use path. We will share info about the watershed, local history, birds, plants, wildlife, weather, and more.

College of Marin Student Day HikeA group of about 15 to 20 international students at the College of Marin will take a short hike through a nearby watershed/openspace area. The hike will conclude at about noon. All of the students are English Language learners, very interested in polishing their English with ICO volunteers as well as learning about plant and animal species along the trail.

ARISE HS Snowshoe Trip to Hutchison LodgeWe will be taking 20 High Schools students from ARISE HS in Oakland up to the Hutchison Lodge near Sugarbowl for a weekend of snow activity. We plan to cook most of our meals in the Hutchinson Lodge, but will have a our Saturday night dinner cooked for us family style at the nearby Clair Tappan Lodge. We will spend our time snowshoeing, hiking, and enjoying winter activities in the Donner Lake area.
